According to Buzzfeed News reporter Zoe Tillman, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani now had his reciprocal license suspended in Washington, DC., after being suspended from practicing law in New York state last month for lying to the court. As for the latter, the appellate division of the New York Supreme Court that covers Manhattan wrote in its decision that it found “uncontroverted evidence” that Giuliani “communicated demonstrably false and misleading statements to courts, lawmakers and the public at large” to suggest that “victory in the 2020 United States presidential election was stolen from his client.”

The association noted in a statement that Giuliani had called for “trial by combat” before the deadly Jan. 6 insurrection at the U.S Capitol.

Also, in the case of New York City, the court ruled that “For the reasons that follow, we conclude that there is uncontroverted evidence that respondent communicated demonstrably false and misleading statements to courts, lawmakers and the public at large in his capacity as lawyer for former President Donald J. Trump and the Trump campaign in connection with Trump’sfailed effort at reelection in 2020. These false statements were made to improperly bolster respondent’s narrative that due to widespread voter fraud, victory in the 2020 United States presidential election was stolen from his client. We conclude that respondent’s conduct immediately threatens the public interest and warrants interim suspension from the practice of law, pending further proceedings before the Attorney Grievance Committee (sometimes AGC or Committee).”

Giuliani gave up everything for a mentally ill, girdled old man that wears lifts in his shoes to appear taller. I hope it was worth it, dude. And to overturn an election. That’s just shameless. Giuliani should be shunned by society.
