The Oscars triggered the conservatives again.

After Korean director Bong Joon-ho won the Oscar for Best Screenplay at the Academy Awards on Sunday night, a conservative host lost his narrow racist mind.

Joon-ho picked up the prestigious award for his work on the 2019 film “Parasite,” a black comedy about greed and class discrimination focusing on a wealthy family’s relationship with a poor family.

Upon taking the stage, Joon-ho expressed thanks and then delivered the rest of his acceptance speech in Korean.

That’s absolutely understandable. After all, “Parasite” is a South Korean film, so it makes perfect sense that Joon-ho would want to speak to his native country.

But a conservative BlazeTV host named Jon Miller couldn’t handle a foreign film winning the Oscar, nor could he handle Joon-ho speaking Korean. So, he launched a typical racist hissy fit.

Then he tried to back away from his racism by claiming that he was talking about Hollywood giving an award to a foreign film, which is still incredibly racist.

His hateful remarks drew backlash, with particularly stinging responses from power couple Chrissy Teigen and John Legend.

Miller dug himself a hole and fell on his face trying to climb out of it. Foreign films deserve just as much praise and consideration during award season as American films. Miller should be ashamed of himself and he owes Joon-ho an apology.
