Melania Trump has written a memoir, and while it hasn’t been published yet, critics have already noticed something strangely familiar. As we’ve learned over the years, the former first lady likes to copy things. After all, she allegedly plagiarized Michelle Obama’s speeches (Trump campaign staff writer Meredith McIver took the blame for that one).
Now it looks like she may have done it again, with the cover of Melania, her new memoir, HuffPost reports.
Critics have noticed it bears a striking resemblance to Chanel Catwalk, a fashion book that was released in 2020, according to The Daily Beast. Catwalk bears a simple design featuring a black background with white block-style lettering. So does Melania.
Hmmm. No wonder critics have questions.

Melania, who can arguably be called the Queen of Grift, posted to social media Monday that her book, to be released on October 1, is now available for preorder. Yessiree, no dime goes unnoticed by this woman.
“Our lives are shaped by our experiences, challenges, and achievements,” she wrote. “For the first time, I share my journey with you, in my new memoir, Melania.”

And yes, social media users had plenty of fun with this. I think it was just too impossible for some folks not to roast her.
“If you were wondering who Melania’s book was going to copy from, here you go. She’s decided to rip-off Chanel,” one user wrote on X.

The two books definitely look similar, notes @SDesign206:

Journalist Victoria Brownworth fired off a post that should leave burn marks:
“Imagine that the lady who was furious she didn’t get a Vogue cover as First Lady has a memoir with no photo of her on the cover like in every other memoir in history. It’s a low-budget right-wing publisher, but still — couldn’t Trump have sprung for a photo cover for his 3rd wife?”

Ow, that’s gotta hurt.
“Does it include your explanation- as you promised years ago that you would provide in 2 weeks – of how you were granted an Einstein Visa – when you did not qualify

While Melania has made it absolutely clear that she hates being in the White House, she’ll never endorse Harris. Not because of any loyalty to her husband, Donald Trump, but because another four-year stint means there’s money to be had. This woman can smell dollars from a mile away. The couple’s son Barron, is soon to fly the coop to attend a university in New York, so Melania won’t have to worry about him.
She can just keep chasing after money like she always does.
