Devin Nunes, the ranking Republican member on the House Intelligence Committee, has reportedly threatened to sue CNN and The Daily Beast after a damning report was published that could implicate the Congressman in the ongoing impeachment probe.

An indicted associate of Donald Trump’s personal attorney, Rudy Giuliani, helped arrange meetings and calls in Europe for Devin Nunes in 2018. There are literally Congressional records of his trip, and Nunes refused to answer a direct question Sunday from Fox Business host Maria Bartiromo about whether he met with former Ukrainian prosecutor Victor Shokin last year as part of an effort to dig up dirt on former Vice-President Joe Biden.

Watch how he refuses to answer the question while blaming CNN of  “criminal activity”:

Lev Parnas is willing to testify to Congress that Nunes did indeed meet with Shokin last year. Nunes pulled a Trumpian move by blaming his accusers of what he has reportedly done. There are literally receipts showing that Nunes traveled to Europe from Nov. 30 to Dec. 3, 2018, along with three of his aides—Harvey, Scott Glabe, and George Pappas. And, we, the taxpayers, footed the $63,000 bill for the four-day trip to try to smear his “president” rival, Joe Biden, and his son, Hunter.

Nunes is known for filing frivolous lawsuits. He’s actually suing a Twitter-parody account that pretends to be one of his cows. And note, again, that Nunes refused to even answer the question while he was in his comfort zone on Fox News.

Meanwhile, fundraising for his opponent’s campaign has increased. We’re just going to go out on a limb here to suggest that Americans are sick of watching the California Republican ignore his constituents while sucking up to his “president.”

Nunes knows he’s in deep-shit.
