In a delicious turn of events (for those of us on this side of the fence, anyway) one evangelical member that used to spend his time reading scripture in a prayer group with none other than Vice President Mike Pence himself, back when the VP was an Indiana congressman, has revealed that this election season, the Vice President that he’ll be casting his vote for is Obama’s former right-hand man, Joe Biden.
The revelation came from Reverend Rob Schenck during an interesting interview with The Atlantic, in which the minister says that he’s been doing his best to encourage his longtime fellow member of the fellowship to get back to and stay true to his Christian faith rather than spending every waking moment of his life serving as a surrogate to Donald Trump and his every hair-brained whim.
“If he were to seek pastoral counseling from me, I would say to him, ‘Brother Mike, Jesus commands you to love your neighbor, not love your boss’,” the Reverend stated in the interview.
Schneck went on to reveal to The Atlantic that he had recently penned and sent a letter to Trump’s Vice President, in which he called on Pence to be an advocate for and tell the truth, and that Pence should not feel obligated to double down on Trump’s neverending string of lies.

“I conveyed in the letter that that was one of the greatest failures of this administration: truth-telling,” the evangelical leader said. “I was trying to say to him, ‘You need to be a truth-teller.'”
Schneck also revealed that, for the first time since he supported his fellow evangelical Christian Jimmy Carter way back in 1976, he will be voting for a Democratic candidate when he casts his vote for frontrunner and Trump opponent Joe Biden — a move we can only assume that VP Pence will quickly interpret as a smack in the face.
It’s clear at this point that even the evangelical crowd is pulling the proverbial wool from their eyes. And every single individual that exists in Trump’s cabinet is at risk in a big sort of way.
