Hilarious New Report Claims Things Went “Terribly Awry” When Trump’s Former Attorneys, Rudy Giuliani And Michael Cohen, Ran Into Each Other At A High-End NY Restaurant

To have been a fly on that wall!

It seems things got a bit awkward between two of Donald Trump’s “dueling former personal attorneys” as Page Six reports Rudy Giuliani and Michael Cohen has an “awkward run-in” at a ritzy, high-end restaurant in New York recently. Apparently, the encounter was so bad, in fact, that the publication says onlookers to the fiasco were left wondering if “hell had finally froze over.”

Page Six reports that staff at Fresco by Scotto were aware that both of the former Trump attorneys were set to appear at the establishment around the same time, but were hoping to circumvent any drama by seating the two pretty much as far away from each other as possible, on opposite ends of the eatery. But the publication says their plan went “terribly awry.”

It was so terrible, in fact, that even POLITICO’s Playbook briefly touched on the awkward fiasco.

A source who spoke with the Page Six publication said, “Before they arrived, other VIPs snagged their planned tables and ultimately the two Trump-connected figures ended up with neighboring tables. There was zero interaction between them and when ex-NYC Comptroller Bill Thompson walked in, he went over to say hello to the former mayor.”

Another source told the tabloid, “Cohen then went around the restaurant, shaking hands with other diners, while giving Rudy a wide berth… It was so icy between the pair, it seemed like hell had finally frozen over.” One individual who saw it all go down said Rudy “sat there stone-faced, at a table with friends, with what was left of his hair dye trickling down his brow.”

Page Six was sure to note what we’ve all known for some time now — Michael Cohen’s disgust and disdain for New York City’s former mayor turned Trump henchman, Rudy Giuliani, is certainly no well-kept secret. In fact, the ex-president’s former, self-described “fixer” recently described Rudy as an “idiot” who drinks too much.”

Of course, the contempt and scorn are far from one-sided.

Rudy has referred to Cohen as “pathetic” and a “serial liar.”

Frankly, I would’ve paid good money to have been a fly on that wall.
