Image Posted On Social Media Shows What McConnell Was Apparently Doing Instead Of Taking On COVID-19 Aid Package When He Left For Three Day Break

Gee, I'm thinking the good people of Kentucky should vote for his opponent.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has been facing some well-deserved backlash after he went gallivanting with his pals over the weekend instead of addressing what the Kentucky Republican called one of his “urgent priorities.” McConnell’s alleged prime concern was the COVID-19 pandemic that has gripped the world, including here in the US, where we’ve seen over 100 deaths so far. The number of people contracting the potentially deadly virus has been growing exponentially while Americans are taking extreme measures to flatten the coronavirus curve.

McConnell tweeted out a statement on Sunday night from his iPhone while he was kicking back and whatnot to announce that passing a coronavirus relief package is one of his “urgent priorities” for the Senate this week. But, instead of focusing on his so-called urgent priority in taking part in the negotiations on the coronavirus relief package, Sen. Turtleshit spent Friday in Kentucky at a judicial event with Supreme Court Justice Brett “I like beer!” Kavanaugh.

MSNBC’s Chris Hayes shared an image from Indivisible Kentucky of McConnell with Kavanaugh and some conservative judges.

What this guy said.

The pissant Kentucky Republican has been pushing conservative judges to retire, especially since Donald Trump could end up being a one-term president. And that’s kind of cute since, in 2010, McConnell said, “The single most important thing we want to achieve is for President Obama to be a one-term president.” Obama, of course, served two-terms and ended up becoming one of this country’s most admired presidents.

But now we have a morally bankrupt, incompetent president, and all McConnell is concerned about is stacking the courts with conservative judges. That, and only that, is Mitch’s top priority. Obviously, McConnell wants senior judges to retire so he can fill their seats with younger conservatives. And he’s doing all of this while Americans are in a panic, and unemployment rates are about to soar — and citizens of this country will die.
