Donald Trump has completely lost one of his biggest defenders, TV show host Piers Morgan, who was aghast over the president’s recent remarks during his daily coronavirus pandemic briefings. Morgan, who has been friends with Donald since appearing together on Celebrity Apprentice in 2008, took a shot at the president last week, but now he’s doubled down in a column for the Daily Mail.
After Trump suggested at a press briefing that people who have contracted COVID-19 could cure the virus by injecting themselves with disinfectant, Morgan called the president’s theory “batshit crazy.”
The first line of the column reads in all caps: “SHUT THE F**K UP, PRESIDENT TRUMP.”
The thin-skinned president, of course, unfollowed Morgan on Twitter after the TV host criticized his “coronavirus cure theories,” according to Business Insider.

“I see the disinfectant where it knocks it out in a minute,” Trump said during his Thursday briefing. “One minute. And is there a way we can do something like that, by injection inside or almost a cleaning?”
“I’m not a doctor, but I’m, like, a person that has a good you-know-what,” Trump said while pointing to his head.
Trump has spewed dangerous rhetoric before, but apparently, this was the line in the sand for Morgan, and he didn’t hold back.
Yet when Philip Rucker, a reporter from the Washington Post, challenged Trump by saying, ‘respectfully, sir, you’re the president and people turning into the briefings, they want information and guidance and want to know what to do. They’re not looking for rumor,’ Trump snapped back rudely: ‘Hey Phil, I’m the president and you’re fake news. I’m just here to present talent, I’m here to present ideas.’
No, you’re not, Mr President.
You’re there to do exactly what that reporter said.
For you to use your platform to fly absurdly delusional and dangerous medical ‘cures’ during this crisis is an outrageous abuse of your position.
Trump is not one to take criticism well. Constructive criticism helps us all grow in life, but the president stopped maturing when he hit his teenage years. So he unfollowed the TV show host on Twitter. That’ll learn him!
It was two months ago today that President Nostradumbass told the American people that we’d be “close to zero cases in the US in a few days.”
Welp, today, we’re at over 950,000 cases in America, and over 53,000 Americans have died from COVID-19.
