Ivana Trump’s NYC Townhouse Gets Major Price Slash And The Possible Reason It’s Failing To Sell Is About As Humiliating As It Gets

Oof. That's embarrassing for the whole family.

It’s been more than a year now since Donald Trump’s first ex-wife, Ivana Trump, met her untimely end following a fall down the staircase in her Manhattan, NYC townhouse, yet the lush and lavish Lenox Hill property has still failed to sell.

However, it seems that the upheaval in the housing market isn’t the source of the multi-million dollar townhouse’s issue or even the fact that a rather notable individual met their end of days inside the residence. Rather, it seems, the infamous Ivana property appears to be having issues that are a bit more, shall we say… Personal for the Trump family.

The former dentist’s office turned Versailles-inspired abode was purchased by Ivana Trump way back in 1992, hot off the heels of her divorce from the man that would go on to be America’s biggest mistake, at a price tag of $2.5 million. The Manhattan property was listed in November of 2022 with a new price tag of nearly 20 times what Ivana originally paid for it, at a whopping $26.5 million.

The townhouse sat on the market for a sad 10 months at that price point, failing to attract even a single buyer, eventually prompting a $4 million discount, cutting the asking price down to $22.5 million when it was re-listed in September of 2023.

The Lenox Hill property is 8,700 square feet of nothing but gold ceilings, railings, hardware, and wallpaper, pink marble floors, extravagant crystal chandeliers, and leopard print carpet — absolutely reeking of that tacky Trump family she married into and was never quite willing to part from.

And that, it seems, may be the issue when it comes to why Ivana’s $22M pad is still sitting pathetically on the market.

CNBC recently reported that it may be Ivana’s connection to the Trump family — and more specifically the failure to remove all of those connections from the Manhattan townhouse — that’s contributing to the property’s failure to attract a buyer:

In many instances, sellers have their homes professionally staged to make their residence more appealing to prospective buyers. In this case, the interiors at 10 E. 64th St. are still very much in the taste of its late owner.

Since her death from a fall on the home’s grand staircase, the residence remains a time capsule, with family photos still adorning walls and shelves. A large poster of one of Ivana’s magazine cover appearances hangs on a wall outside the home office. Her book ‘Raising Trump’ sits on the coffee table in the living room.”

Considering this is the same infamous crime family that’s literally on trial for fraud in New York as we speak… I suppose it kind of makes sense why no one wants in on that juju.
