Ivanka Trump took to Instagram and Twitter after a long absence on social media to say that she teamed up with billionaire Chobani founder Hamdi Ulukaya to assist Americans who are suffering from food insecurity, according to the Daily Mail. As we reported previously, a bombshell government report claims that Ivanka’s billion-dollar Farmers-to-Families Food Box Program wasted millions upon millions of taxpayer dollars, only to deliver rotten food to families in need.
So, this is a different program to help the needy. The previous program ended in May after a congressional report charged that it had been mismanaged and used for political gain.
Ivanka, who hadn’t posted on social media since May of last year when she used her Instagram and Twitter accounts to promote the COVID vaccine, returned to the social media platforms this morning to thank those who helped feed the needy this holiday season.

Interestingly, she’s working with Ulukaya even though he’s been critical of former President Donald Trump. In 2017, he said that Trump’s travel ban was “personal” for him.
“This is very personal for me,” Ulukaya wrote in an internal memo obtained by CNN at the time. “As an immigrant who came to this country looking for opportunity, it’s very difficult to think about and imagine what millions of people around the world must be feeling right now.”
“America has always been a symbol of hope, tolerance, and diversity —and these are values we must work very hard to uphold,” he added.
Let’s just hope that Ivanka isn’t doing a photo-op because she’s decided to run for political office. And maybe she’s doing something genuine out of concern for others in need. Oh, what am I saying?
