Matt Gaetz Just Responded To Being “Locked Out Of Prison” Earlier Today

He can't possibly be this stupid.

Republican Reps. Matt Gaetz (FL), Marjorie Taylor Greene (GA), and Louie Gohmert (TX) tried to enter a facility on Thursday that is holding people who allegedly attacked the U.S. Capitol during the deadly Jan. 6 insurrection. Still, instead, they were met with a locked door and couldn’t enter the premises. Well, imagine that, a jail with a locked door. The three attempted to paint the political stunt as some sort of persecution against the alleged Capitol rioters. The supposed party of law and order appears to be against law and order while trying to help the arrested individuals that stormed the Capitol to stop a peaceful transition of power.

And just as Gaetz seems to think that the three Republican lawmakers can walk into a facility that’s holding alleged violent criminals, he also thinks he should have Attorney General Merrick Garland’s ear as if the Department of Justice doesn’t have its hands full right now. The three boneheads sure are working hard to side with the alleged insurrectionists. Gaetz suggested that people are usually “locked in prison,” and added that “it’s not every day that people are locked out of a prison.” Actually, yes, people are locked out of prisons for very good reasons.

Matt doesn’t seem to be aware that prisoners can only be seen on visiting days. He should get used to that since the Florida Republican is under investigation for the sex trafficking of a minor.
