There was a time, less than ten years ago, when Megyn Kelly had something of an adversarial relationship with Donald Trump after Kelly asked a critical question in a 2015 presidential debate. Trump made her “blood coming out of her whatever” comment that same week, and it all led to Kelly’s departure from Fox News and a Hollywood movie, Bombshell, which depicted Kelly as the hero.

Nine years later, Kelly, who now hosts a show on Sirius XM, is as pro-Trump as anyone in the media and has reacted to most statements and actions by Democrats with unadulterated disgust.

Most recently, Kelly has taken umbrage at Kamala Harris’ interview on the popular podcast Call Her Daddy.

“I want to start today with the total abandonment of American women,” was the reaction by Kelly to the interview, per The Daily Beast. She also called Harris’ interview by Alex Cooper “presidential equivalent of a visit to the Amsterdam red light district or the 1970’s Times Square back alleys.”

Call Her Daddy, one of the most popular podcasts in the country, has included frank sex talk and other risque topics throughout its history. However, there wasn’t any of that type of discussion when Harris sat down with Cooper. Instead, the two discussed abortion policy, as well as the notion pushed by Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders, that she “doesn’t have anything keeping her humble” due to her lack of biological children.

“I don’t think she understands that there are a whole lot of women out here who, one, are not aspiring to be humble,” Harris said on the show. “A whole lot of women out here who have a lot of love in their life, family in their life and children in their life, and I think it’s really important for women to lift each other up.”

Kelly, on her show, conceded that Huckabee’s line was “dumb politics.”

“You played with fire and you got burned,” Kelly said about Cooper, the show’s host. “And you failed at an important moment in presidential history.”
