Yesterday, we reported on the bombshell news that Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner have officially been subpoenaed by Special Counsel Jack Smith, in direct connection to the ongoing Justice Department investigation into Donald Trump’s and his allies’ actions in the days leading up to the infamous, deadly January 6th Capitol insurrection, and their overall attempts to overthrow the results of the 2020 presidential election.
The move against Donald Trump’s eldest daughter and son-in-law — both of whom served as official advisors in the ex-president’s administration — served as just the latest development in a long line of power moves by the special counsel, including recent subpoenas issued against the likes of Trump’s former VP Mike Pence and his former Chief of Staff Mark Meadows.
This morning, MSNBC legal expert Harry Litman said that this was an “end game move” by Special Counsel Jack Smith, signaling that he is nearing the end of his extensive investigations into the corrupt, scandal-ridden ex-president, and indictments are soon to come.
Now, Melania Trump’s former close personal friend and White House aide has spoken out on the development and said that Ivanka Trump’s lies “will catch up with her” very soon.

Stephanie Winston Wolkoff was once very close friends with former First Lady Melania Trump, serving as her White House advisor before she claims to have been forced out and “thrown under the bus” in 2018, following an investigation into the alleged misuse of Donald Trump’s inauguration funds. Winston Wolkoff has since penned a bombshell and rather exposing book on her time within the Trump Administration and weighed in today with her own thoughts on the Jared/Ivanka subpoena development, making it very clear that she fully expects the former favorite first daughter to lie to investigators, and get caught for it in the end.
“Special Counsel Jack Smith subpoenas Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner in criminal investigation. PERJURY!” Stephanie wrote on Twitter. “Let’s see Ivanka lie in a grand jury setting. Maybe her lies will catch up with her from her past depositions and I say that with knowledge and proof!”

Winston Wolkoff, a former Vogue staffer, served as an unpaid adviser to Melania Trump in the earliest days of Donald’s presidential term, before a bombshell New York Times report broke indicating that a firm created by Winston Wolkoff was paid a staggering near-$26 million for the inauguration events that Stephanie is said to have played a very large role in. Following this controversy, Winston Wolkoff left her position in the Trump White House, later claiming that she was forced out and used by the Trump family as a scapegoat for their scams and crimes.
Stephanie would go on to publish her tell-all memoir, Melania and Me: The Rise and Fall of My Friendship with the First Lady, in 2020, just ahead of the presidential election that Donald Trump ultimately lost to Joe Biden.
It remains unclear whether Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner intend to fight the subpoenas issued against them by the special counsel. Donald Trump continues to maintain that he has done nothing wrong.
