As November’s presidential election rapidly closes in on us, and we watch in collective horror as Donald Trump’s latest fiasco unfurls before our eyes, one former occupant of the White House has had enough of Donnie’s delusional and downright dangerous crap — and folks, she’s not holding back.
The Obama’s were rather politically quiet when first leaving the White House in 2016, seemingly staying out of the spotlight while serving as a beacon of love and support to those who needed it most. But as we approach what will go down in history as the most important election of our lifetime, the former First Couple knows all too well what’s at stake, and they simply could not stand idly by.
As I’m sure you’ve seen over the past several months, the Obama’s have really dug their claws in campaigning for Barack’s former Vice President turned Democratic nominee, Joe Biden. And in the wake of Trump’s absolutely atrocious scandal surrounding his recent COVID-19 diagnosis, Michelle herself released a 27-minute long clip for the Biden campaign in which she held nothing back and left no putrid stone unturned when it comes to the Trump administration.
The ad, called “Michelle Obama’s Closing Argument,” features the former First Lady telling Americans, “Seven months later, he still doesn’t have a plan for this virus. Seven months later, he still won’t wear a mask consistently and encourage others to do the same, even when those simple actions could save countless lives. Instead, he continues to gaslight the American people by acting like this pandemic is not a real threat.”

But she didn’t stop there.
With all the drama that has unfolded over the last few days, it can be easy to lose sight of Trump’s numerous past transgression. But Michelle Obama was not about to let America forget — ultimately addressing Trump’s racism point-blank, saying the president is “stoking fears about Black and Brown Americans,” and “lying about how minorities will destroy the suburbs.”
The former FLOTUS clearly is not in the business of sugar-coating, “What the president is doing is, once again, patently false. It’s morally wrong. And yes, it is racist. Racism, fear [and] division … are powerful weapons [that can] destroy this nation if we don’t deal with them head-on.”
In closing, Michelle stated, “I’ll be very honest: This is a message I’d planned to release earlier, and after everything that’s happened, I weighed whether or not to go public at all. But I wanted you all to hear what’s been on my mind. Because the fact is that the drama of the past few days has only emphasized what’s at stake in this election.”
There’s simply nothing I can say to top that.
