Mike Pompeo Just Made Major Announcement Regarding Trump And Turkey

This is insane.

A person can pretty much predict what Donald Trump will do by taking a look at his older tweets. For example, in 2011 Nostradumbass tweeted: “In order to get elected, @BarackObama will start a war with Iran.” Then he pulled out of Obama’s Iran deal and almost started one himself.

Trump now has the worst approval rating of any president in the history of polling. The former reality show star is plagued with scandals with his most recent one launching an impeachment inquiry. Trump appears to have been caught in a quid pro quo deal with Ukraine’s leader in order to obtain dirt on his political rival, Joe Biden.

So, as a surprise to no one ever, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is making war noises and it’s not beyond Trump to create chaos to deflect from his corrupt actions.

Pompeo told CNBC: “We prefer peace to war. But in the event that kinetic action or military action is needed, you should know that President Trump is fully prepared to undertake that action.”

Trump is facing a bipartisan backlash for his bizarre and unpopular decision to withdraw U.S. forces from northern Syria, while throwing the Kurds, who led the ground war against ISIS, under the bus, thus leaving our allies to be slaughtered.

Pompeo didn’t seem to be clear as to what he meant:

Pompeo declined to lay out a red line for what action would prompt a U.S. military response, saying he did not want to “get out in front of the president’s decision about whether to take the awesome undertaking of using America’s military might.”

“You suggested the economic powers that we’ve used,” Pompeo said. “We’ll certainly use them. We’ll use our diplomatic powers as well. Those are our preference.”

The State Department declined to comment to the outlet regarding Pompeo’s remarks.

Trump insulted the Kurds again, telling reporters at a Cabinet meeting on Monday that the U.S. “never agreed to protect the Kurds for the rest of their lives. We’re not going to take a position. Let them fight themselves.”

The Kurds are being displaced after fighting alongside our troops to defeat ISIS as Trump made the controversial decision to abandon them. Then, after a backlash, Trump is trying to put out the fire he started, but with war, there are deadly consequences and there’s already enough blood all over 45’s hands.

This sums up the erratic behavior coming from the White House:

Trump falsely said our troops were coming home, but they were simply moved into Iraq, leaving the Kurds with a feeling of abandonment. As the troops moved out of the area, Kurds held signs as U.S. tanks and trucks rolled out of northern Syria and into Iraq.

“Thanks for U.S. people, but Trump betrayed us,” read one sign.
