Donald Trump has launched a 14-rally blitz in just a few days, even though no social distancing guidelines are adhered to. The president speaks to largely maskless crowds amid the raging pandemic that has brought this country to a standstill. Trump can rant for over an hour and a half to his MAGA crowds, but on Friday, he cut the event short for his speech at a rally in Minnesota. Even though he recently recovered from COVID-19, Trump tries to act the part of a strongman despite being a septuagenarian.
Trump spoke for just 21 minutes and 49 seconds at his rally in Rochester, MN, just days ahead of the election.
New record for @realDonaldTrump. 21 minutes, 49 seconds in Rochester, MN. That’s officially the shortest in-person campaign rally of his presidency.
Next closest: 37 min, 55 sec in Nashville on March 15, 2017.

Maybe Trump’s narcissistic ego couldn’t handle speaking to a smaller crowd of supporters.
President Trump only spoke for 21 (!) minutes at this smaller event in Rochester, MN tonight. Can’t remember him ever speaking for less than 45 minutes at a rally but this was restricted to only 250 people due to coronavirus safety guidelines and Trump was not pleased. https://t.co/5VXPX1qmMz

This is about half his average speech length, and he often goes much longer when he’s into the crowd (nearly 90 min in Tampa yesterday). https://t.co/XIhgjgBe65

Maybe it’s the small crowd. Maybe it’s the cold. But this is the lowest energy I’ve ever seen the President be at a rally. He’s blowing through his applause lines, just checking the boxes on his usual speech, like he’s got somewhere to be. pic.twitter.com/iZyj6YSlLp

He’s so low energy.

To be fair, he’s got to fit 17 more of these super-spreader events in before Monday when the Adderall runs out!

During her time as Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton traveled 956,733 miles — and Trump tried to paint the former Democratic nominee as a low-energy candidate. I’m starting to see a pattern here.
