Donald Trump really wants to be important. Well, he really wants to be a dictator. But with that comes importance, right?
Donald’s ego has a tendency to swell to such proportions, fairly regularly, that we often literally end up with viral hashtags on social media reminding him that “YOU ARE NOT A KING.” This is the United States of America, and no matter how badly he wants it to, that’s just not how things work over here.
So to soothe his poor, hurt feelings over the fact that he’ll simply never quite stack up to the likes of his idols such as Kim Jong Un and Vladimir Putin, living in a world where people idolize and revere him at the risk of beheading should they not, Trump has been forced to look for other ways to pacify his ever-inflating ego.
And it seems now that he’s looking to placate himself in a place he knows he’ll be surrounded by his own people — the Daytona 500.
Fox News Chief White House Correspondent John Roberts reported that Donald is itching to take his presidential limo, dubbed “The Beast,” for a lap around the Daytona International Speedway before the race gets underway:

Fox Business has also reported that Trump will be serving as the grand marshal of the NASCAR Cup Series season opener.

It seems as though Trump is doing his best to live it up in the few safe spaces he has left. He knows he’ll be booed out of pretty much anywhere else he goes.
