South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham has a nasty habit of schmucking it up to Donald Trump at every chance he gets — despite his earlier disdain for the man, leaving us all to wonder just what it is Donnie’s got hanging over his head.
But nevertheless, since Trump’s inauguration, Graham has made sure to make a complete ass of himself in defense of Trump at every given opportunity.
That’s why one particular video that’s made the rounds all over social media is extra ironically hilarious.
As Graham flushes what’s left of his dignity down the toilet — with a good 10 to 15 flushes, of course — video footage of Trump absolutely trashing the South Carolina senator is popping up on social media for all our viewing pleasure.

“I think Lindsey Graham is a disgrace, and I think you have one of the worst representatives of any representative in the United States, and I don’t think he should run,” Trump declares in the 2016 video during a campaign event in front of the Senator’s own home-state constituents. “I don’t think he could run for dog catcher in this state and win again. I really don’t. Other than that, I think he’s wonderful.”
Just hours before the slam at the campaign event, Trump said of Graham in a Fox News interview that the then-Republican front-runner would make a “terrible commander in chief” going on to claim that the GOP would be “slaughtered” with Lindsey as their nominee.
“He’s one of the dumbest human beings I’ve ever seen,” Trump declared.
Graham’s campaign for the presidency was rather short-lived as he struggled to gain any footing in the race.
“He ends up at zero [percent]. Zero,” Donald stated. “Here’s a guy running for the presidency — he’s at zero. He leaves in disgrace, in my opinion.”
“I saw him on television this morning, and I think he lost it. He said ‘Donald Trump, he’s’ — he couldn’t even talk,” he continued to disparage the Senator. “He was shaking. The hatred. They say, ‘What do you think of Donald Trump? Well, waahhh.’ He went crazy. The guy is a nut job.”
Honestly, I can only hope that Graham eventually gets an eyeful of this gem, perhaps once he finishes making a complete asswipe out of himself for nothing more than Trump’s personal benefit. He’ll be wishing he’d stuck to his own talking points against Trump from back then.
