Here we are, yet again, with Ivanka Trump riding the coattails of her daddy’s position of power.
Donald Trump is set to arrive in Ahmedabad, India today for a quick 36-hour or so visit — during which he will be traveling from Ahmedabad to Agra, to the national capital where he will wrap up his stay, complete with an excursion to the Taj Mahal.
On the high-level delegation team set to make the trip with him are his wife Melania, Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin, Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross, and none other than daddy’s little princess and her stand-in hubby because marrying your father is illegal in the United States, Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner.
Kate Bennett, a White House reporter with CNN, confirmed the news of Ivanka and Jared’s spot on the team in a post on Twitter:

Of course, Ivanka is simply thrilled at the prospect of yet another mini-vacation for herself and the family all at the expense of us common little taxpayers out here in the real world. And she certainly didn’t miss a chance to point it out to us all in the most back-handed, “let me pretend that I’m important and have any idea what I’m doing” sort of way.
“Two years after joining Narendra Modi at the Global Entrepreneurial Summit in Hyderabad, I am honored to return to India with POTUS and FLOTUS to celebrate that the grand friendship between the world’s two largest democracies has never been stronger!” Ivanka penned in a less-than-humble brag on her Twitter account yesterday as they all gear up for their trip.
