Yesterday afternoon, in the January 6th House Select Committee’s surprise public hearing, the American people saw some of the most bombshell testimony to come out of this thing yet, after Cassidy Hutchinson, the former White House aide to Trump’s Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, appeared before the Committee and the American public to tell her story.
Throughout yesterday’s surprise hearing, we heard damning recollections of Donald Trump’s absolutely horrifying behavior on January 6th, 2021 — ranging from the fact that he and his Chief of Staff Mark Meadows knew full and well that many of his supporters at his infamous Stop The Steal rally were armed to the gills with deadly weapons and body armor, to the unhinged and downright violent reaction Trump had upon learning that he would not be allowed to go to the Capitol with his raging, unhinged mob, where they would go on to violently siege the government building with Congress inside.
And that’s honestly just the highlights.
In fact, Committee Vice-Chair Liz Cheney went so far as to close yesterday’s hearing with brutal evidence that Donald Trump’s own allies have literally been tampering with witnesses, as the unhinged, one-term, twice-impeached former president’s fear and desperation grow out of control.

And now Trump World is trying harder than ever to spin this thing before it sinks their entire ship.
In the midst of the hearing yesterday, Trump made his fear and desperation as clear as ever when he took to his Truth Social platform to scream and yell about how he doesn’t even really know who Cassidy Hutchinson is — the same old “I don’t know them” excuse he’s leaned on for ages. And now it seems his former WH advisor Stephen Miller is taking a page straight from that pathetic playbook.
In an appearance on Fox News with Laura Ingraham, hot on the heels of the damning hearing, Miller said of Hutchinson, “She’s an extremely junior, low-level aide. I don’t think I ever had a conversation with her, that I can at least recall.
Sure, buddy. How’s that excuse been working out for your old boss?
