In recent months, following her resignation from Congress, Marjorie Taylor Greene has emerged as one of President Donald Trump’s sharpest critics. At the same time, Greene’s fiancé, Brian Glenn, has continued to work as a reporter for the pro-MAGA media outlet Real America’s Voice.

It was a situation that looked somewhat untenable, much like in Trump’s first term, when top Trump adviser Kellyanne Conway was married to anti-Trump lawyer George Conway.

But while the Conways eventually divorced, and George Conway is now running for Congress in New York as a Democrat, the Greene/Glenn situation has had a different outcome.

Glenn announced this week that he is stepping down from his role with Real America’s Voice and, seemingly, departing Washington altogether. He had been with Real America’s Voice for two years, following stints with Nexstar Media Group, Sinclair Broadcasting, Tegna, Salem Media Group, and Right Side Broadcasting.

Per the conservative site Just the News, Glenn announced this departure this week.

“Over the years, I’ve covered thousands of America First MAGA events — from the biggest rallies, boat parades, flag marches, state fairs, town halls to all of the election integrity Senate hearings, critical gubernatorial races, caucuses, and just about every other America First/MAGA event,” Glenn wrote on X. “If it was happening, I was there. I’ve dedicated my life to supporting President Trump and his MAGA agenda and the Republican Party, even at times when it was difficult to stand alone amongst a hostile environment.”

Glenn did not indicate that he has joined Greene in breaking with Trump. He stated that “I will always support America First policies and look forward to the future with the love of my life, MTG.”

Per Raw Story, Glenn decided, while in Georgia last week, to “leave the gloves in the ring.” He did state that “If you love this country, if you want what’s best for this country, you have to hold those accountable that we elect to office. We have to hold them accountable to their campaign promises.”
