Day two of the public hearings surrounding Donald Trump’s formal impeachment inquiry are currently underway. Earlier this week, the American public witnessed testimonies from Bill Taylor and George Kent — which certainly didn’t do Donald any favors. Now today, we will all be hearing first-hand testimony from former Ambassador to Ukraine, Marie Yovanovich, who was effectively smeared and destroyed by members of Trump’s administration.
While virtually all of America has tuned in to hear for themselves exactly what the former Ambassador has to say, Donald and his cronies have been peddling the tale that Trump has better things to do than watch his ship sink on live television.
However, in spite of Press Secretary Grisham’s statement claiming that the president wouldn’t be watching the hearings on Wednesday, we’ve already debunked that — as Donald just simply cannot stay away from that Twitter account of his.
And now that Yovanovich is publicly telling her side of the story, it’s strikingly clear that once again, regardless of what they want you to believe, Trump is most certainly tuned in.

As the former Ambassador sits before the House Intelligence Committee and testifies on how she was smeared by the Trump administration, Trump is taking to his Twitter account to launch yet another smear attack against the woman.
“Everywhere Marie Yovanovitch went turned bad. She started off in Somalia, how did that go?” Donald wrote on his Twitter account this morning, as Marie’s testimony was taking place. “Then fast forward to Ukraine, where the new Ukrainian President spoke unfavorably about her in my second phone call with him. It is a U.S. President’s absolute right to appoint ambassadors.”

This little outburst by our “president” proves a lot. First, Donald Trump is most certainly watching. Secondly, this manic episode of his, played out on social media for all to see, is essentially proof that what Yovanovich is saying is true. The sorry excuse for a “leader” of this nation is bullying a witness in real-time. And it’s exactly what Marie is accusing him of doing in the past.
If you’re following along with the hearing today, you know that Yovanovitch testified under oath that Donald Trump, the president of the United States, made her feel threatened:
Yovanovitch: “‘She’s gonna go through some things.’ It sounded like… a threat.”
Goldman: “Did you feel threatened?”
Yovanovitch: “I did.”A 33-year veteran of the United States Foreign Service… threatened by the president of the United States.

If he’s willing to make such derogatory remarks on Twitter, can you even imagine what she was subjected to in private? The abuse towards the former Ambassador at the hands of the president is so severe that the counsel has even read his tweets from this morning directly to Yovanovich during the hearing, giving her an opportunity to respond to Donald’s attacks.
