Trump Continues To Play Golf, But His Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany Once Said: “When We’re In A State Of Mourning, You Should Take Time Off From Golf”

This statement and her hypocrisy should haunt her to the grave.

Donald Trump has played golf multiple times while Americans are dying, but you haven’t heard White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany utter a single criticism of him — even though she once insisted that presidents should not play golf during times of mourning.

Over 175,000 Americans are dead and many are being buried in mass graves because there’s just no safe way to have a funeral right now. In addition, these Americans died alone without their families beside them to offer comfort.

Yet, Trump has offered little sympathy to these families and the victims, and even had the gall to play golf over Memorial Day weekend as the death toll hit 100,000.

Again, the death toll is nearing 200,000 now. For comparison, that would be roughly the same number of people who attended the World Cup Final in Brazil back in 1950 at Maracana stadium, which set the record for attendance in an enclosed venue. Just imagine that entire stadium full of people dying and each seat being filled by a body bag. That’s how bad this pandemic is right now, but Trump would rather golf.

His most recent outing was a three-day weekend at Bedminster in which he played a round while his younger brother died. Seriously.

But McEnany, who somehow has the nerve to call herself a good “Christian woman,” refuses to take issue with Trump playing golf. Back in 2017, however, she threw a fit because Obama allegedly played golf after a journalist was murdered. Of course, that journalist was Daniel Pearl and he was beheaded in 2002 when Obama was just a state senator in Illinois.

After uttering that false accusation, McEnany went on to insist that presidents should not play golf while the country is in mourning.

“I think when we’re in a state of war, when we’re in a state of mourning, you should take time off from the golf course,” she said.

Here’s the video:

Trump has claimed that this pandemic is a war and fancies himself to be a wartime president. And it is indisputable that our nation is in a state of mourning and will be for months because Trump has recklessly and incompetently responded to the crisis. The last thing he should be doing is golfing, and both he and McEnany should be called out for their hypocrisy.
