Donald Trump’s daughter Ivanka tried in vain to defend him in the wake of substantiated reports that he disparaged dead American Marines who are buried in a World War I cemetery in France by calling them “losers” back in 2018.
At the time, Trump was supposed to help honor the 1,800 fallen soldiers at the Aisne-Marne American Cemetery along with other world leaders who gathered for the occasion.
But Trump unexpectedly canceled the trip and cited rain as the official reason. Of course, the other world leaders did attend despite the rain, so there’s no way rain should have stopped Trump from being in attendance.
The real reason he apparently did not want to attend is because he thinks so little of soldier who make the ultimate sacrifice for our country. A bombshell report reveals that Trump referred to the dead soldiers as “losers” and “suckers” unworthy of being honored.
Amid national outrage, Ivanka attempted to defend her daddy by producing a government document that somehow proves that rain is the true reason Trump couldn’t attend the ceremony.

Because the Trump administration would never hide, destroy, or falsify documents to protect Trump, right?
Twitter users pointed that out, and noted that Trump could have said what he said about the dead soldiers anyway.

The problem really is that the rain did not stop the other world leaders from attending the ceremony, and the fact that the American president failed to show up is disgraceful.
