Ex-President Donald Trump has spent several weeks now with his sights locked and loaded on his former Vice President Mike Pence, who refused to go along with Trump’s unhinged and illegal plan to steal the 2020 presidential election through refusing to certify the Electoral College votes in Joe Biden’s favor.
We’ve pretty much known since that infamous day last January when Donald’s supporters shouted from the rooftops to “Hang Mike Pence!” and Trump still refused to call his dogs off, that Trump and Pence were on the outs and probably always would be. But here lately, Trump’s ire has just gotten worse and worse.
In several “official” statements recently, Trump has very publicly and very specifically hit out at his old right-hand man. Even going so far at one point as to call on the January 6th House Select Committee to launch an investigation into his old VP.
Throughout all of it, Pence remained pretty quiet. We kind of assumed it was a matter of Pence being too chicken shit to publicly push back against the likes of Donald Trump. But as it turns out, that may not be the case after all.

According to a new report from HuffPost aides to the former Vice President have revealed that Pence is currently gearing up to publicly address his old boss’ recent attacks as well as the notion that he could have somehow prevented or overturned Trump’s brutal election loss. Apparently, this will serve as one topic of discussion during Pence’s upcoming speech in Orlando, FL, at the conservative Federalist Society’s conference.
“Pence had already been scheduled to speak at the conservative Federalist Society’s conference in Florida, and advisers have indicated in recent days that he is likely to respond there to Trump’s latest attacks,” the report reads.
“Trump, who has long claimed that all he wanted Pence to do was send several electoral slates Democrat Joe Biden had won back to states to ‘correct’ their mistakes, early this week stated clearly what his true goal had been all along: for Pence to unilaterally award Trump a second term,” HuffPost goes on to report, adding, “Pence, who is laying the groundwork for a presidential run in 2024, over the past year has only infrequently countered Trump’s false claims that he could have, on his own, kept Trump in office.”
“Trump a year ago became the first president in more than two centuries of elections to refuse to hand over power peacefully. His incitement of the Jan. 6 assault on the Capitol ― his last-ditch attempt to remain in office ― killed five, including one police officer, injured 140 more officers, and led to four police suicides. He is now under investigation by federal and state officials in multiple jurisdictions.”
I can tell you this much — Donald Trump will NOT take well to this.
