Trump Just Filed Pathetic New Court Documents Demanding Judge On His New Lawsuit Against A Slew Of Democrats Be Disqualified Because He Was Appointed By Bill Clinton 25 Years Ago

Oh, you gotta be kidding me.

We just recently reported that ex-President Donald Trump has officially lodged an insane lawsuit against a whole slew of Democrats — including his 2016 presidential opponent and longtime sworn enemy Hillary Clinton — claiming that they all tried to rig the 2016 presidential election against him (does that rhetoric sounds familiar, anyone?) by publicly accusing him of colluding with Russia.

To be entirely frank, it’s truly one of the former guy’s most outlandish lawsuits to date. And God knows he’s had some real doozies over the years.

But, in true Trump fashion, it got worse still.

Ex-President Donald Trump filed court documents in the Southern District of Florida today, in which he pathetically demanded that the judge who is currently handling this hair-brained lawsuit be disqualified from his case because he was appointed to the bench by former President and husband of his 2016 Democratic opponent Bill Clinton — 25 years ago.

“Hillary Clinton acted as First Lady of the United States, during the time of the Judge’s nomination,” the court document,” the court document reads.

To add additional irony and overall ridiculousness to the case as a whole, one Washington Post columnist was quick to point out that Trump’s own lawsuit seems to prove that Trump’s own lawsuit is factually incorrect, and Hillary Clinton was not, in fact, the driving force behind the alleged Russian conspiracy.

All in all, the former president is seeking a staggering $24 million in damages from the lawsuit. However, given that he won the 2016 presidential election, it’s entirely unclear as to how he was actually wronged in any way. Trump himself claims to have lost that $24 million through money he had to spend “in the form of defense costs, legal fees, and related expenses.”

Ultimately, the ex-president himself admits in the new court documents that they’re not even sure if there’s actually any impropriety when it comes to the Clinton-appointed judge, they’re just assuming off the bat that there is.

“The Plaintiff is also unaware if the Judge has [a] current relationship with either the Defendant, HILLARY CLINTON, or her husband, and how far back the relationship has existed,” the court document reads.

The 2016 election and the entire ordeal that Trump is suing over, of course, took place long after Judge Middlebrooks was appointed to the bench by then-President Clinton. So, therefore, it’s unclear as to whether or not his meeting Hillary Clinton’s husband Bill a whole 25 years ago would actually serve as a legitimate reason for disqualification.

Emeritus professor of criminology and criminal justice at Eastern Michigan University, Gregg Barak, wrote of the situation, “Trump’s primer on the law included Roy Cohn’s three rules of litigation: Never settle, never surrender; counterattack immediately; no matter the outcome, always claim victory. Over the course of his litigious life, Trump was better at adhering to the latter two rules than the first, because the social reality of legal facts often dictates settling.”

Frankly, the whole thing just seems to get more and more unhinged and bizarre with each passing moment at this point.
