Trump Just Responded To Mike Pence’s Recent Public Rebuke And It’s Honestly Even Worse Than We Expected: “Our Country Is Going To Hell!”

We knew this was coming, folks. We could smell it from a mile away.

Former President Donald Trump has spent the last several days doubling and tripling down on his increasingly-heated attacks against his former Vice President Mike Pence. Recently, it seems Trump learned that some Democrats are working to close a loophole that could potentially allow a VP to overturn the results of an election and by his logic, if people are working to close this loophole, then that confirms its existence and means Mike Pence could have done it for him like Donald had planned, he just chose not to.

As you can imagine, this news pretty much instantaneously filled the former guy with rage, all directed at his old right-hand man.

Trump was quick to being pushing out his official statements, filled with vitriol, shaming, and unhinged attacks against Pence. He’s so angry, in fact, that he’s gone so far as to demand that the January 6th House Select Committee actually launch an investigation into Pence personally for choosing not to overturn the election results.

Frankly, we weren’t sure what to expect from Pence as far as a reaction goes. Ever since the fateful Capitol riot last year, it seems the old VP plucked up just enough of his spine to refuse to go along with Trump’s plan and that was as far as it went. Even since then, Pence has still seemingly tiptoed around his old boss, appearing afraid to truly criticize him in public.

But that all changed yesterday.

During a speech to a local chapter of the Federalist Society in Florida, Pence officially and very publicly rebuked his old boss.

“President Trump is wrong… I had no right to overturn the election,” Pence said during the event. “The presidency belongs to the American people, and the American people alone. And frankly, there is almost no idea more un-American than the notion that any one person could choose the American president.”

As soon as we heard the news, we braced for impact.

And Donald Trump delivered.

Late last night, Trump’s spokeswoman Liz Harrington took to Twitter with a new statement from the one-term, twice-impeached former guy, in response to his old VP’s fiery criticism, and frankly, it’s worse than we even expected.

Trump began his statement by peddling the same Big Lie we’ve been listening to for more than a year before declaring, “In other words, I was right and everyone knows it.”

” A great opportunity lost, but not forever, in the meantime our Country is going to hell!” he concluded.

To say that this man is unstable would be the understatement of the century. We shouldn’t even be entertaining the notion of him making another presidential run. His kids should be shopping for a nursing home.
