Melania also says in the chapter that she “asked questions” during the raid.
“Curious about the specifics, I inquired about the number of troops involved, and the details were explained to me.” She also does not use Mike Pence’s name in the chapter, calling him only “the vice president,” indicating that Pence, post-January 6, remains persona non grata in the Trump orbit.
