Trump Responds To Tucker Carlson’s Ridiculous Claims That The NSA Is Spying On Him

Oh, good grief.

Recently, Fox News talking head Tucker Carlson made some pretty steep claims about the National Security Agency, asserting that the entity is spying on him, as if anyone gives a damn about what Tucker Carlson thinks, feels, or does.

But nevertheless, Donald Trump had to get his own word in on the situation at hand and, wouldn’t you know, he absolutely thinks it’s true.

Now, the former guy is absolutely the last person on earth who should have anything to say about a spying scandal, given all that we know now (I’m looking at you, Trump DOJ, let me know how Schiff’s lawsuit turns out,) yet here are with Donald throwing irony straight into the wind.

During an appearance on The Clay Travis and Buck Sexton Show, Trump responded to Tucker’s claim, calling it totally believable.”

The topic got its legs from a conversation between the two about how the ex-president has supposedly been “targeted by the deep state” over the last few years. Trump goes on to reminisce on how “all hell broke loose” when he attempted to push those baseless claims, but of course, never mentioned the fact that Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz 2019 investigation showed that there was never any political bias fueling the FBI’s probe into Trump’s campaign.

This led to the show’s host once again asking Donald Trump what he thought about Carlson’s NSA claims, to which the ex-president heartily responded, “I think it’s true. It’s totally believable.”

Of course, Trump couldn’t focus on Tucker too terribly long, as he just had to get back on track with his disproven conspiracy theories, now dubbed the “Big Lie,” that he actually won the 2020 presidential election and was cheated out of a second term with mass voter fraud.

Now, if the NSA were actually spying on the Fox host, it would obviously be a massive, bombshell story. However, Carlson unsurprisingly has yet to produce even an ounce of proof to back up his claims. Even more so, the very network that Carlson works for hasn’t lent a speck of coverage to the notion.

Even further still, Biden’s press secretary Jen Psaki has already rebuked the claims and made it clear that the NSA focuses on foreign crimes, not outdated Fox News hosts.
