Trump Says He Will “Most Likely” Be Tested For Coronavirus Moments After Refusing, As Reporter Apparently Pointed Out His Selfishness To His Face

Well... We'll see, I suppose.

Despite Trump’s numerous attempts to diminish the severity of COVID-19, things are beginning to come to a head for this nation as the virus continues to rapidly spread across the country, virtually unchecked.

This afternoon, Trump was pretty much forced to face the music, address the nation, and ultimately declare a national emergency regarding what is now a pandemic so some shit can finally start getting accomplished and individual states will actually have the funds and means to do so.

Donald is finally, seemingly, opening up some decent, legitimate pathways to allow Americans to actually get tested for the virus if they’re showing symptoms or have been exposed without being forced to jump through impossible hoops. However, for the majority of his address, it still seemed as though Donald was extremely unwilling to hold himself to the same standards.

It’s no secret at this point that Trump himself has been exposed to COVID-19 multiple times now. Yet, when he was questioned by reporters as to whether he would be taking the responsible precautionary measures recommended by the CDC as well as WHO, such as self-quarantine or at least a test to determine if he’s infected, Donald dug his heels in again and held tight to his refusal saying he has “no symptoms whatsoever.”

That is until one brave reporter essentially called him out on his self-centered behavior to his face.

The reporter asked Donald if he was being “selfish” by refusing to get himself tested or follow quarantine procedures as a result of his exposure as many of his administration officials have done over the past few days to weeks.

Once called out, Trump took to pushing back in the other direction, declaring, “I didn’t say I wasn’t going to be tested.”

Reporters doubled down on the president and specifically questioned whether he would be tested or not.

“Most likely, yeah. Most likely. Not for that reason, but because I think I will do it anyway,” Trump responded, adding that he would likely get the test to determine if he’s infected with the virus “fairly soon.”

That’s all good and well, I suppose. But I just want to remind everyone that Trump also said he’d get the remainder of his presidential physical completed “fairly soon” as well. Yet here we are.
