Recently, the state of Florida suffered quite a tragedy when a condominium in the town of Surfside collapsed, resulting in a death toll of 18 so far, with many more still missing as search and rescue teams exhaust themselves. As any good and decent President of this nation would do, President Joe Biden met with Florida’s Republican, MAGA-loving governor Ron DeSantis to discuss the catastrophe and to offer any assistance he could give in helping the area to recover. Politics aside, it was absolutely the good and right thing to do.
Yet, Trump supporters are nevertheless still super butthurt about it.
To be specific, some supporters of the former president found themselves absolutely beside themselves with rage and a sense of betrayal when DeSantis expressed his gratitude to President Biden for being “very supportive from day one” with regard to the state’s Surfside tragedy that has left nearly 150 people still missing/unaccounted for.
According to the former guy’s rabid, mouth-foaming supporters, the Republican Florida governor never should have even agreed to meet with President Biden in the first place. They believe that Biden the legitimate president and therefore should not be involved in such serious matters; despite the fact that the former VP turned President beat Donald Trump in the 2020 presidential election by a hearty 7 million plus popular votes and 74 electoral college votes. Not to mention the fact that every attempt on the ex-president’s part to somehow alter these results has blown up in his face.
