Thursday night marks the final round of presidential debates between Democratic opponent, former Vice President Joe Biden, and Donald Trump, the latter of which is flailing in the polls. The Commission on Presidential Debates made the wise choice of implementing a mute button for the final round of debates after Trump interrupted Biden and/or the moderator over one hundred times during the first event.
And of course, during Thursday’s debate, President Ranty continued to play the bully while interrupting his opponent. Actually, Trump’s face appeared to be turning red at some points, as he huffed and puffed while Bident spoke. It was infuriating that they didn’t hit the mute button during several exchanges, but finally, that happened.

Ironically, as Trump was cut off, he talked about Obamacare, the very healthcare plan that protects us from insurers that previously could deny many of us of coverage for having pre-existing conditions, and once again, the president promised an affordable plan. Yeah, he promised to do that one day one, but this guy has been in office for nearly four years, and this president has given us nothing viable to replace the ACA with. If Trump achieves his goal of eradicating the Affordable Healthcare Act amid the coronavirus pandemic, this country would have another crisis to address — and without a president at the helm.
As Donald J. Trump continues to try to divide us, Biden said, “I’m running as a proud Democrat, but I’m going to be an American president. I don’t see red states and blue states. What I see is America, the United States.”
And that’s what we need, folks. This division needs to stop. And with less than two weeks before the election, we can’t go down this road any longer. With Trump threatening to cut off more Americans from their healthcare amid the raging pandemic, the choice is clear. And Trump’s screamy rage-y rants during debates only confirm that the former reality show star isn’t fit for the job.
At least for once, Trump was cut off from his outrageous diatribe that will leave Americans more at risk. Thanks for confirming that, though, Mr. President.
