Whoa!

After a wink and a nod from Donald Trump, supporters of the outgoing president stormed the U.S. Capitol in protest of the former reality show star losing to Joe Biden in both the electoral and popular vote. Trump supporters have been physically confronting the police, and flashbangs have been heard outside. Trump supporters are trying to stop the Constitutional process of counting the electors as some Republican lawmakers and Senators have objected to the election results. And make no mistake about it, Donald Trump could stop this violent outbreak, but he’s enjoying the display of attempted sedition.

Vice president Mike Pence has signaled that he will perform his duties to preside over the Senate and is not going to take part in the president’s attempted coup. So now, Pence has been escorted off the grounds.

The responsibility for this violent outburst lies with Republicans, too.

What a hot mess.

Trump is busy on Twitter lashing out at Pence.

They are now inside the Capitol.

Trump just tweeted this, and he has not told his supporters to vacate the area.

This was a totally predictable situation after the outgoing president just suffered from a massive and public narcissistic injury. The police need to start making arrests.
