Anderson Cooper Brilliantly Tears Into Trump Over His Baseless Murder Accusation Against Scarborough: “What A Little Man. He’s The Leader Of The Free World And He’s A Little Man”

A perfect description of this president.

Donald Trump has ramped up his attacks on Joe Scarborough by repeatedly suggesting that the MSNBC host is responsible for the 2001 death of one of his congressional staffers. The death of Lori Klausutis, a 28-year-old aide of Scarborough’s at the time, was ruled as accidental, but that hasn’t stopped Trump from accusing a media figure of murder simply because he’s critical of the president.

Trump’s attacks have gotten so appallingly disgusting that Lori Klausutis’ widower wrote a letter to Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey to request the social media site delete the president’s tweets. “Please delete those tweets,” Timothy Klausutis pleaded in a letter last week to Dorsey. “My wife deserves better.”

That didn’t faze Trump, though, as he disregarded the request when asked about it by a reporter on Tuesday. Trump makes everything about him, even if it means adding more grief to a family that lost a loved one years ago. Trump likes to rip open scars to rub salt into people’s wounds, and all of this amid the pandemic that has caused the deaths of over one hundred thousand Americans.

CNN’s Anderson Cooper replayed that clip, and responded accordingly to repeatedly call Trump a “little man.”

“What a little man,” the CNN anchor said. “He’s just a little man. He’s the leader of the free world, and he’s a little, little man. A self-proclaimed war-time leader,” he said.

Anderson said that the president “doesn’t have the guts to say he doesn’t care” about the anguish being heaped on to Klausutis’ family.

“No, no, he doesn’t have the guts to say, I don’t care what they think because this serves my political purposes,” Cooper said. “That’s why he’s doing it. He doesn’t have the guts to say it because he is just a little man despite his girth and size. He’s a little man inside and he knows that.”

“The President of the United States raising conspiracy theories about a dead woman, though her family is begging Twitter to take them down,” he said.

Watch:

The president doesn’t care about adding anguish to a family, and he does not care about the one hundred thousand Americans who have died on his watch. To Trump, it was never America First. To the president, it’s Trump First, and fuck everyone else. When Trumpers wore t-shirts at his 2016 rallies saying, “Fuck your feelings,” they meant it, apparently.
