After Bannon’s Recent Indictment, Trump Campaign Advisor Says The President Has A Track Record Of “Hiring Excellent People”

There have been so many indictments by those affiliated with the Trump campaign and its allies that the number has had to be fact-checked. The list grew again when Steve Bannon — Trump’s former campaign head and chief strategist — was arrested on Thursday and charged with conspiracy to commit wire fraud and money laundering in connection with a crowdfunding effort to build a wall along the southern border. The ‘We Fund The Wall’ project was alleged to be a scam. Bannon allegedly took at least one million dollars of the money raised from supporters to afford himself a luxurious lifestyle.

Still, even with the lengthy list of Trump allies that have been indicted, the president’s campaign adviser Jason Miller claimed that Trump employs a number of “solid people.”

Miller appeared on NBC’s Meet the Press, and host Chuck Todd questioned the president’s campaign adviser about Bannon’s arrest. Todd noted the number of Trump associates that have been charged or convicted since the president took office, including Bannon, Michael Flynn, Paul Manafort, Rick Gates, Michael Cohen, and Roger Stone. Todd even had an image up of those who have been charged.

When confronted that Trump has “surrounded himself with people with shady instincts,” Miller said that the president has a history of hiring “excellent people.”

“When you look at the president and the people he has brought on board … these are some very solid people,” Miller insisted.
Watch:

This is your friendly reminder that Miller previously admitted to having extramarital affairs, hired prostitutes, and visited Asian-themed massage parlors for hand jobs, according to court documents. According to his then-girlfriend, A.J. Delgado, Miller also allegedly drugged, a dancer at a strip club in Florida, with abortion drugs after impregnating her. So, when Miller insists that Trump hires only the best people, we must wonder why he’s in the president’s orbit, too.
