Donald Trump is embarrassed in the worst kind of way.
The Black Lives Matter protests have all but infiltrated his own front yard at the White House now, as thousands and thousands of demonstrators take to the streets around Lafayette Park to speak out against police brutality and George Floyd’s recent murder.
Just a few days ago, Trump seemingly got so concerned over his safety that every light in the White House was extinguished and he retreated to his underground bunker in true dictator fashion.
Naturally, the mockery that ensued against America’s most chickenshit president was absolutely brutal, to say the least. Hashtags ranging from #BunkerBitch to #bunkerbabytrump were trending on Twitter for days in the aftermath of Donald’s Hitler-style retreat.
And, as I’m sure you’ve gathered by now, Donald Trump is not one to take well to being made fun of.

He’s already begun his vendetta for vindication by bringing the force of the United States National Guard down on D.C. protesters for no other reason than to ensure that he can stroll around the block unscathed as the military tear gasses demonstrators.
But evidently, Donnie didn’t feel as though his blatant power play was enough to clear the air of his newly-affixed “Bunker Bitch” title.
During a radio interview with Fox News host Brian Kilmeade this morning, Trump doubled down on the bunker narrative with a handful of shaky, ridiculous excuses as to why he shouldn’t be picked on for it.
“If they don’t get their act straightened out I will solve it. I’ll solve it fast,” Trump said of the protesters before veering off into a rant about his bunker ordeal.
Pushing back against the narrative that he was “hiding in a White House bunker” while protests raged outside his front door, Trump said, “They said it would be a good time to go down and take a look because maybe sometime you’re going to need it,” ultimately claiming that the bunker visit was more for an “inspection” than his safety.
However, multiple reports have claimed that Trump was “rushed” into the White House bunker to protect his safety amid the protests.
Several journalists are taking to Twitter to report on Trump’s Fox interview this morning:
Trump says on Fox Radio interview he was in the bunker for “tiny” amount of time and it was “much more for an inspection” than for his own safety.

Trump says he went down into the bunker only “for inspection.”
“It was during the day,” he insists, not during nighttime protests.

President Trump tells Brian Kilmeade it was a false report that he was taken to the underground bunker amid protests, though he confirms he did go to the bunker. He says he went in the day and it was “more for an inspection.” “I was there for a tiny, short little period of time.”

Trump just claimed on Fox radio he went to the underground bunker “for an inspection.”
He claims he was there “during the day” and not at night and that he was there for “a short period of time.”Trump was rushed to bunker for nearly 1 hour amid protests, per multiple reports.

Nice try, Donnie. But we know better.
