Americans Left Repulsed After Marjorie Taylor Greene Appeared To Barely Give A “Weak” Applause During President Zelenskyy’s Emotional Speech To Congress, Seemingly Even Look Around To See If Anyone Was Watching Her

To be quite frank, it takes a lot to get me really and truly riled up these days. Don’t get me wrong, I get appalling. I get disgusted and angry and saddened and impassioned and so many different emotions when I look at the state of things in the world we live in today. However, I’ve just been doing my job for so long now, and I have seen so many heinous atrocities during that time, that it takes a true level of insanity or cruelty or disrespect to really get my blood boiling to the point that I’m genuinely seeing red.

But this did it.

As we’re all painfully aware, the country of Ukraine continues to remain under a violent invasion and attack by Russian military forces, under the direction of Russia’s dictatorial President Vladimir Putin, who continues to go back on ceasefire promises, bomb the country’s civilian areas, and lies to his own country’s people while doing it.

While the people of Ukraine and their leadership have proven that they absolutely will not back down in the face of Vladimir Putin’s evil, they have also made it crystal clear that they desperately need all the help and support they can get. As such, Ukrainian President Voldomyr Zelenskyy delivered a deeply emotional address to the United States Congress today, where he spoke rawly of the heinous heartbreak and loss his nation is currently undergoing as Putin continues to march forward with his invasion and attack against Ukraine and powerfully called upon the US government to strengthen its support for his country and take stronger actions against the Russian government as Zelenskyy and his country’s people wade through this devastating war with boots on the ground.

Zelenskyy’s speak was so impassioned and raw, in fact, that it earned him a bipartisan standing ovation from America’s lawmakers.

And then you have Marjorie Taylor Fucking Greene.

Video clips of Zelenskyy’s speech were quick to make rounds on social media as America and so many other nations band together in their support for Ukraine. But one clip, in particular, caught the eye of many social media users, and to say that they were left disgusted, repulsed, and appalled would frankly be an understatement.

In this particular clip, the Georgia House Rep. — who’s already highly controversial, to begin with, thanks to her Q-Anon devotion, unhinged conspiracy theories, dedication to Trump’s Big Lie, and close relationships with white supremacy groups — can be seen in the audience, surrounded by her fellow congressional colleagues, as President Zelenskyy brought his moving speech to a close. People were quick to notice that the Republican’s applause was “weak,” at best, and she seemed to be looking all around her to see if anyone was watching her less-than-supportive clapping.

This… This level of disrespect and flippancy when people are literally dying is what makes my blood BOIL.
