Since the very beginning of Donald Trump’s formal impeachment inquiry, Republican party members have done everything within their power to complete derail these proceedings — no matter how stupid, immature, or desperate it makes them look.
When the hearings were still being held in private, as is protocol, GOPers banded together to illegally storm the proceedings with demands to make them public. Now that they’ve gotten their wish, and Americans across the nation are able to bear witness to the multiple testimonies against Donald Trump, the GOP’s behavior has only gotten that much worse.
While none of the Republican members of the committees have conducted themselves in any manner worth being proud over, a handful of them have been extra embarrassingly disgusting throughout this entire public process — with ridiculous tactics ranging from right-wing conspiracy theories to rants about alleged nudes of the president to random outbursts that serve no other purpose than to derail the hearing.
Leading the charge with some of the most batshit behavior to date has been none other than grade A, putrid dickbag Jim Jordan, himself.

While Jordan’s particularly rabid and unhinged rants have made for several viral videos making their rounds on social media and more than enough fuel to disparage the guy for the rest of eternity, one Democratic Rep. was taking absolutely none of ol’ “Gym’s” nonsense today.
Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-WA) put her foot down in the face of one of Jordan’s now trademarked hissy fits during today’s impeachment hearing after the GOP Rep. attempted to derail and silence her fiery argument in support of removing Donald Trump from the presidency.
Jayapal began her argument by pointing out that GOP Rep. Matt Gaetz was incorrect in his assertion that Donald Trump’s involvement with Ukraine boiled down to nothing more than an investment on the president’s part in Ukraine’s fight against Russia.
“Why then did he decide he was so concerned about ‘corruption’ that he was not going to release military aid?” Jayapal questioned, which spurred Jim Jordan into a tizzy, demanding that she immediately yield the floor.
“I am not yielding!” Jayapal fired back at the GOP Rep. “I am not yielding. I am not yielding.”
“They got a new president!” Jordan interrupted with a yell, in reference to Ukraine.
“The gentlelady has the time!” Jerry Nadler, chairman of the House Judiciary Committee proclaimed with a slam of his gavel. “People will not interrupt.”
“That argument has no weight whatsoever!” Jayapal fumed back at the GOP Rep. “Nowhere between the time that Donald Trump withheld aid and the time that he released that aid was there an additional assessment [on Ukraine corruption] required or done.”
“Forget about President Trump,” she continued. “Will anyone of my colleagues on the other side say that it is an abuse of power to condition aid on official acts?”
“Not a single one of you has said that so far,” she pointed out in her conclusion.
Jordan will almost assuredly be crying into his gym socks over this later today — as we all know these fragile male egos simply cannot tolerate being shut the fuck down by a powerful woman.
