The “president,” his eldest son, and Sen. Rand Paul have been working hard at revealing the whistleblower’s identity. The whistleblower is the individual whose revelations about Trump’s quid pro quo phone call with Ukraine’s leader launched an impeachment inquiry by Democrats. So Republicans have been lining up to “out” the individual even though it would put him or her in harm’s way. Donald Trump Jr. went as far as to tweet out the alleged whistleblower’s name on Wednesday.
Donald Trump Jr. and his girlfriend Kimberly Guilfoyle, a former Fox News broadcaster and senior 2020 Trump campaign adviser, appeared on The View and it quickly became a circus event. In one part of the interview, Abby Huntsman took Junior to the woodshed over his hypocrisy on whistleblowers. She pointed out how much Donald “I love Wikileaks!” Trump embraced Julian Assange and WikiLeaks — now considered a “hostile intelligence service” (spies) — while on the campaign trail.
Junior quickly looked to his girlfriend to answer the question, and it’s kind of painful to watch.
“How is this whistleblower who went through the right channels…how are you now releasing his name and putting his life in danger but WikiLeaks is doing the right thing?” Huntsman asked.

Don Jr. looked at his girlfriend as if he was in need of assistance to answer the question. Guilfoyle tap-danced around the question, saying that Trump is the “president” and said they have been trying to impeach him “since day one.”

Apparently, neither of them were capable of answering that simple question. On Wednesday, Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky) blocked a resolution reaffirming the Senate’s support for whistleblower protections. It’s almost as if there’s a concerted effort by Republicans to save their “president” from the scandals he created. It’s almost as if they know that the former reality show star is an incoherent buffoon who is incapable of understanding big boy words. It’s almost as if none of them give a shit that this “president’ puts people in harm’s way because hey, they got their tax cuts for the rich and that’s all that matters, apparently.
