Donald Trump Is Going To Be Enraged Over What Lindsey Graham Reportedly Told The GA Grand Jury In Election Crime Investigation Against The Ex-President

Trump will not respond to this well. At all.

South Carolina’s most infamous, staunch Republican Senator Lindsey Graham has officially made an appearance before the Atlanta special grand jury in District Attorney Fani Willis’ ongoing investigation into the Trump-led efforts to overthrow the results of the Peach State’s 2020 presidential election, and once the ex-president finds out what Graham told the jury, I can only imagine the fury and rage that will promptly ensue — because it really doesn’t look good on the big guy.

Recently, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution broke bombshell reporting featuring a deep dive inside DA Willis’ ongoing Georgia grand jury investigation. Just the day before, we reported on the explosive news that the infamous Raffensperger call wasn’t actually the only phone call Trump made to an official in the Peach State, desperate to overturn his humiliating election loss.

Now, the AJC has exposed the details of the damning testimony delivered to the grand jury by none other than Lindsey Graham, who personally played a huge role in the Trump-fueled plot to essentially tamper with Georgia’s election results.

According to the reporting, Graham invoked Donald Trump’s lack of mental stability as somewhat of an excuse for why the scandal-ridden former president acted the way he did. Graham testified that Trump was in a panicked, highly-impressionable state of mind, so much so that, at the time, Donald would have believed pretty much any conspiracy theory that was presented to him — even if someone had told him that space aliens stole his ballots.

Tamar Hallerman and Bill Rankin reported with the AJC:

One grand juror recalled U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham’s testimony about Trump’s state of mind in the months after the 2020 election. He said that during that time, if somebody had told Trump that aliens came down and stole Trump ballots, that Trump would’ve believed it,’ the juror said.”

As it stands, the full GA special grand jury report has been blocked from public release, at the request of DA Fani Willis, as she stated that making the details of the investigation public could hinder her ability to properly move forward with prosecutions. However, the jury forewoman has infamously gone on a bit of a media “spree,” so to speak, in recent weeks, in which she has confirmed to several outlets that “multiple” indictment recommendations were made. There has been no confirmation as to whether or not Donald J. Trump was included among those recommendations, but the forewoman alluded to that being the case.

District Attorney Fani Willis convened a special grand jury in her investigation into former president Donald Trump’s alleged plot to overthrow the results of the 2020 presidential election in Georgia after President Biden saw a historic victory in the southern swing state. At the core of Willis’ investigation was the infamous phone call Trump made to GA Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, in which the then-outgoing-president all but demanded that the state official “find” the nearly 12,000 votes he needed to overthrow Biden’s victory, as well as the notorious “fake” electors plot.

Senator Graham was implicated in those alleged crimes, as he personally made calls to top officials in the Peach State in an effort to assist Trump in his plan, which went on to serve as the focus of the subpoena against Lindsey in the case.

A “special” grand jury does not have the power to return a “true bill” for indictments. Willis will have to convene an ordinary grand jury and present the findings and recommendations by the special grand jury to bring charges against any individuals implicated in the case.

The GA investigation is only one of many investigations, lawsuits, and legal troubles Trump is currently embroiled in — including Attorney General Letitia James’ lawsuit, the Manhattan District Attorney’s hush money investigation that is reportedly very close to an indictment, and multiple federal investigations currently being conducted by Special Counsel Jack Smith on behalf of the US Department of Justice.
