As I’m sure we all know by now, Donald Trump’s oldest daughter Princess Ivanka was recently busted for breaking the quarantine guidelines that are supposed to be protecting the country and slowing the spread of the virus when she traveled to the Trump National Golf Club Bedminster in New Jersey for Passover.
Naturally, Ivanka caught a whole hell of a lot of flack for her decision to travel to a literal coronavirus hot spot in the middle of a global pandemic for no good reason at all, all while she continues to hypocritically tout whatever social distancing advisory her daddy has arbitrarily come up with that day.
In response to the backlash over her trip, the White House released a statement attempting to excuse Ivanka’s travel amid the strict guidelines that specifically say not to travel.
“Her travel was not commercial. She chose to spend a holiday in private with her family,” the statement says before going on to add that it’s “a closed down facility considered to be a family home.”

It seems they’re attempting to paint Ivanka’s decision as excusable because the place in New Jersey is considered a family home, meaning she wouldn’t be breaking the stay-at-home orders. She just went to a different “home.”
It’s a weak excuse, at best. But according to one former Trump family insider, it’s a bullshit one, too.
Noel Casler, a former employee of Trump’s reality TV show The Apprentice, took to his Twitter upon the release of the White House statement with a hypothesis of his own on the situation — and it’s a whole lot more nefarious than the one released by Trump’s team:

Could it be that Ivanka made the trip to Bedminster in an attempt to make what’s suddenly a “second home” to them eligible for some of the relief included in the stimulus package that was just recently approved?
It’s no secret that the bill was chock full of jargon that even the wisest of us can’t understand. And it does seem rather odd that Ivanka is suddenly hanging out at the place while her hubs heads back to work — especially considering how hard New Jersey has been hit with the outbreak.
Chances are, we’ll never know if this is the case or not. But considering this is the same woman who was mandated to take training courses aimed at learning out not to defraud a charity… I can’t say I’d be surprised in the slightest.
