Jim Acosta Put Marjorie Taylor Greene In The Hot Seat, Face To Face, Over Her Text Message Suggesting Donald Trump Should Declare Martial Law, And She Pitched An Absolute Fit

Well, she did NOT handle that well!

It seems GOP stooge, GA Republican House Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, can’t keep her rear end out of hot water, or the hot seat.

The Republican, Q-Anon nutcase has been at the center of quite a lot of not-so-great attention lately, as she sat through publicly televised hearings related to a candidacy challenge lodged against her by a group of Georgia voters, seeking to disqualify her from running for Congress again or even putting her name on the ballot, over her role in the January 6th Capitol insurrection.

But if that wasn’t enough controversy for the Trump-loving lawmaker as it was, a bombshell report from CNN certainly served to ruin the rest of her week. In text messages first obtained by CBS News and first reported on by CNN, it was revealed that Greene allegedly sent one of the most concerning text messages we have seen to date in the Mark Meadows text message scandal when she penned a message to the then-Trump Chief of Staff, just days ahead of President Biden’s inauguration, and expressed that some Republican congresspeople had privately suggested that then-outgoing President Trump should declare martial law.

“In our private chat with only Members, several are saying the only way to save our Republic is for Trump to call for Marshall law,” Greene reportedly wrote to Meadows in a text message on January 17, 2021. “I don’t know on those things. I just wanted you to tell him. They stole this election. We all know. They will destroy our country next. Please tell him to declassify as much as possible so we can go after Biden and anyone else!”

This is the very same text message that Congresswoman Greene denied “recalling” during her public televised hearings — much like pretty much everything else she was questioned about.

And CNN’s Jim Acosta is calling her out on it — right to her face.

In a video clip that made its way around social media like wildfire, we get a front row seat to a “conversation” between the popular CNN reporter and the highly controversial Republican congresswoman, in which Acosta flat out confronts Greene over the alleged text messages and her sudden, convenient failure to recall them.

And, suffice it to say, Greene was none too happy about the confrontation.

Acosta pushed back on Greene’s repeated claims that she “doesn’t recall” the text messages, or pretty much anything else, to the point that Marje got so heated, she started screaming “You’re a liar!” at the CNN journalist.

See for yourself:

Let me just put it to you this way, Marje. Innocent people do not behave that way.
