New Report Claims Senior Trump Official Lied On Her Resume And Was On A “Fake” Times Magazine Cover

Why am I not even surprised?

Donald Trump spent a good portion of his 2016 campaign days bragging about how, should he wind up in the White House, he would “only hire the best.” However, in the almost three years that he’s been living it up as the undeserving president of this nation, he’s had a far less than stellar record when it comes to his employees.

As we’ve already seen on multiple different occasions, the Trump administration is akin to a revolving door — there’s always someone coming or going, positions always being refilled by “acting” officials because someone was either fired by crossing one of Donald’s arbitrary lines or they’re penning their resignation with fury to hopefully avoid the fast-food drive-thru line for the rest of their lives.

But Trump’s ever-changing employees aren’t the only issues he has within his departments. Unsurprisingly so, the majority of the folks that are within his administration and have managed to hold on to their positions are corrupt, lying pieces of shit. But then again, who else would you expect to stick around under the reign on Trump?

The most recent of Donald’s officials to come under scrutiny for being a disgraceful, untruthful dickbag is deputy assistant secretary in the State Department’s Bureau of Conflict and Stability Operations, Mina Chang.

Thanks to a thorough investigation conducted by NBC News, we now know that Chang is yet another member of the Trump administration who’s sitting in a position they don’t deserve — after said investigation revealed that Mina padded her resume with more than a few embellishments, even going so far as to create a fake TIME Magazine cover with her face on it. (Ooooo… We know someone else who’s done that before too, don’t we, Donnie?)

According to the bombshell report from NBC News, Chang blatantly lied about being a Harvard graduate, seriously over-embellished the scope of her nonprofit’s work, and even made up a role on a UN panel, where she claimed she had addressed both the RNC and DNC, claiming that she had testified for Congress.

Chang was actually on the horizon for an even bigger position within the government, one that packed with it a budget of over $1 billion, but lost out on the shot when Congress began to question her resume.

“It does seem that this administration has not been doing the same depth of vetting as previous administrations,” said James Pfiffner, a George Mason University professor and executive branch expert who once participated in government vetting during his time in the government’s Office of Personnel Management.

Honestly, I’m not even surprised at this point. The “president” himself has a nasty little habit of faking TIME Magazine covers. Kind of sets the tone for the rest of his officials, don’t ya think?

You can read the full report from NBC News here, which takes a deep dive into the full scope of Chang’s transgressions.
