Obama Delivers Perfect Off-The-Cuff Response To Trump And Diaper Comment During Rally For Harris

It’s good to see that former President Barack Obama is keeping his sense of humor because if there’s anything we need right now, with less than a month to go before the 2024 presidential election, it’s humor. He appeared at a rally in  Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where it looked like he was having a good time.

And yes, he was funny.

“I remember the first time I went in the store, right after Malia was born. I was like, ‘What?’ I saw what diapers cost. I remember changing diapers,” Obama told his audience. “You think Donald Trump ever changed a diaper?” The audience clapped and roared, and there were yells of “No! No chance!” as Obama kept grinning. Then someone yelled “His own!”

Obama pointed at the person who fired this salvo and said, “I almost said that, but I decided I should not say it,” he quipped, chuckling and breaking into an even bigger grin.

We are living in very depressing times so this lighthearted banter was enough to lift my spirits.

Others said they believed he should have said the quiet part out loud.

I think it’s pretty well-known that Trump has to wear adult diapers by now. He’s always been so full of b.s. it has to leak out somewhere. Otherwise, the man would just explode and no one wants that. And Barack Obama has quite a sense of humor. I think it was necessary during his years as president. He was stonewalled by Republicans at every turn, just as Biden has been now. And many GOPers, including Trump, are trying to destroy the affordable care act. Trump’s tried countless times as president and he failed. So this opens the door for Obama to poke fun at Trump’s expense.

But as you might expect, there were a few sour apples in the bunch, who fired cheap shots at Obama. Because they decided to go low when Obama took the higher and funnier road.

Some of these people are unintentionally funny. Obama didn’t make race an issue. It’s always been with us.
