Welp, this got weird, quick.
In a recent video clip, North Carolina Republican House Rep. Madison Cawthorn revealed and proceeded to detail the alleged sex and drug parties, complete with orgies and bumps of cocaine, that 60 and 70-year-old elected officials in Washington D.C. have apparently been inviting him to. And people on social media can’t help but point out that the Trump-loving GOPer pretty much has to be talking about lawmakers from his own party.
“The sexual perversion that goes on in Washington, I mean being kind of a young guy in Washington with the average age of probably 60 or 70,” Cawthorn said. “And I look at all these people, a lot of them that I, you know, I’ve looked up to through my life. I’ve always paid attention to politics guys that, you know, then all of the sudden you get invited to like, well, hey, we’re going to have kind of a sexual get together at one of our homes. You should come there, like… What, what did you just ask me to come to? And then you realize they’re asking you to come to an orgy. Or the fact that, you know, there’s some of the people that are leading on the movement to try and remove addiction in our country and then you watch them doing, you know, a key bump of cocaine right in front of you and it’s like wow this is wild.”
People on social media were pretty quick to point out that Cawthorn definitely isn’t known for hanging out with a big ole crowd of stinky Democrats. So, logic says that the people he is now accusing of inviting him to do bumps of cocaine before he jumps into the orgy pretty much have to be individuals from his own political party.
Republican strategist and Bulwark columnist Tim Miller took to Twitter to claim that he has contacted Cawthorn’s office to see if the Republican lawmaker would be revealing who it was that allegedly invited him to the orgy.
I’ve asked Cawthorn’s office if he intends to identify the orgy inviter. https://t.co/aiFzuSvgKy

The rest of Twitter had an absolute field day:
Hey Jr., did you ever invite Cawthorn over to your parties?

Madison Cawthorn specifically said he was referring to “guys he really looked up to” which obviously rules out any Democrat, based on his own statements.
So which Republicans in Congress is he alleging have invited him to a wild sex orgy? https://t.co/qz2lrRdjdT

Cawthorn: you’re never gonna believe what my fellow Republicans are up to here in DeeCee, let me tell you https://t.co/rSsGominre

Cawthorn from what I see doesn’t hang out with Democrats. So does this mean he is implying Republicans in Congress are doing coke in front of him or inviting him to orgies? https://t.co/85l8Vs2Gw7
