Things Went To Hell For Trump As Jan. 6th Committee Source Confirmed Former WH Counsel Pat Cipollone Has Been A “Cooperative Witness” Within Certain Parameters

Trump is going to FLIP.

Just recently, we reported that crucial witness, former Trump White House counsel Pat Cipollone, was finally, officially set to testify before the January 6th House Select Committee regarding his insider knowledge on Donald Trump’s behavior and actions in the days surrounding and on January 6th, 2021.

We can only imagine how hard the mere news of Cipollone’s impending testimony sent the washed-up former guy spiraling. But whatever crisis he was neck-deep in over this news just undoubtedly got a whole hell of a lot worse, as an inside source who is “familiar” with the former Trump White House counsel’s testimony confirmed that, for the most part, Cipollone was generally “cooperative” with the House Panel that’s investigating Trump’s potential crimes.

NBC News’ Julia Jester reports on information from an anonymous January 6th Committee source who said that Pat Cipollone has been “a cooperative witness within the parameters of his desire to protect executive privilege for the office of general counsel.”

It’s likely that those “parameters” they’re referencing mean that Cipollone was unwilling to answer questions regarding personal legal advice he gave to then-President Donald Trump while acting in his capacity as White House counsel during Trump’s administration.

But that doesn’t mean that Cipollone didn’t drop some serious bombshells on the House Select Committee. Far from it, actually.

There’s a high likelihood that the former Trump White House attorney confirmed a lot of the testimony that was recently given to the House Panel by former Mark Meadows aide Cassidy Hutchinson, during her surprise public hearing testimony. Hutchinson invoked Cipollone several times during her appearance before the Committee, including a claim that Pat has personally instructed her to keep Donald Trump away from the United States Capitol on January 6th, 2021, because he rightfully feared that Trump’s physical appearance at the march that would go on to turn into a full-on insurrection would leave the then-president and other administration officials wide open to charges of criminally interfering with an official act of Congress.

There’s also the serious potential that Cipollone may have confirmed testimonies that were delivered by former Trump DOJ officials regarding their concerted effort to push back against a plan by former DOJ environmental lawyer Jeffrey Clark to try to prob state officials into rescinding the certification of their elections by sending them letters claiming that the Justice Department had uncovered unspecified and nonexistent “fraud” in the results of the election.

Good luck, Donnie. You’re really gonna need it now.
