I honest to God believe that former President Donald Trump might actually be the least self-aware, tone-deaf human being that has ever walked the face of this big, green earth.
Allow me to take a moment to remind everyone that Donald Trump was officially impeached by the United States House of Representatives — for the first time, mind you — over his attempts to withhold aid from Ukraine that had already been through the process and approved by Congress, in an effort to extort and blackmail Ukrainian President Voldomyrr Zelenskyy into giving him some sort of campaign-ruining dirt on his then-Democratic political opponent, Joe Biden.
Allow me to also remind you that there have been numerous proven ties between Donald Trump, his campaign, and the Kremlin. That doesn’t even begin to touch on his son-in-law Jared Kushner’s ties in the Middle East, or all of the other various shady, nepotistic grifts we witnessed through Trump’s long four years in office.
And yet the man still had the gall, the absolutely freaking audacity, to say some nonsense like this.

Tonight, the one-term, twice-impeached former guy held one of his ridiculous MAGA rallies in Commerce, Georgia, and it was unsurprisingly chock full of all the bullshit we’ve come to expect and hate from him — heaping praises on Vladimir Putin while blaming the war on Biden and the fact that the election was “stolen” (he lost) from him, lots and lots of Big Lie ranting, and enough scrambled up, trademarked Trump word salad to last us the rest of the year.
Hell, we even got to witness his hair trying to run away from him in the wind.
But this right here… This was too much. Even for him.
Speaking to his band of supporters from the stage, Trump demanded that “Joe Biden should recuse himself from anything having to do with Ukraine because they’ve gotten so much money from Ukraine.”

The irony in that is so damn strong it’s not even funny at this point. It’s just disgusting.
