It seems Donald Trump has found himself overtaken with anger yet again — this time with world-renowned, Academy Award and Golden Globe-winning actor George Clooney.
Recently, the Oscar-winning actor penned a fiery op-ed for the New York Times, in which Clooney, like many other prominent figures these days, called on sitting President and 2024 Democratic presumptive nominee Joe Biden to gracefully drop out of the 2024 presidential race.
Clooney, who is just one of many Hollywood names to make such a public plea, wrote that President Joe Biden has saved democracy in the United States in his term as the commander-in-chief, and could do so again by gracefully stepping down as the Democratic nominee and allowing the Left a better chance at defeating Donald Trump in November.
Apparently, this was enough to send the scandal-plagued and newly-felony-convicted former president over the deep end.

Following the op-ed, Trump took to his floundering Truth Social platform and fired off at the world-renowned actor, essentially telling him to stick to acting and stay the Hell out of politics.
“So now fake movie actor George Clooney, who never came close to making a great movie, is getting into the act,” Trump fumed in reaction to Clooney’s NYT piece. “He’s turned on Crooked Joe like the rats they both are.”
“What does Clooney know about anything?” the former president goes on. “He uses the Democrat ‘talking point’ that Biden, the WORST President in the history of the United States, has ‘saved our Democracy.’ No, Crooked Joe was the one who WEAPONIZED Law Enforcement against his political Opponent, who created the most devastating INFLATION in the history of our Country, who Embarrassed our Nation in Afghanistan, and whose crazy Open Border Policy has allowed millions of people to illegally pour into our Country, many from prisons and mental institutions. Crooked Joe Biden didn’t save our Democracy, he brought our Democracy to its knees. Clooney should get out of politics and go back to television. Movies never really worked for him!!!”
Clooney has actually served as a very large proponent of Joe Biden’s presidential campaign and only changed course after what was a rather disastrous debate.
As recently as June, the actor hosted a positively massive Hollywood fundraiser for the incumbent president that raised a staggering and record-breaking $28 million.
“It’s devastating to say it, but the Joe Biden I was with three weeks ago at the fundraiser was not the Joe ‘big F-ing deal’ Biden of 2010,” Clooney explains of his change of heart. “He wasn’t even the Joe Biden of 2020. He was the same man we all witnessed at the debate.”
The actor goes on to write that Democrats have been “all so terrified by the prospect of a second Trump term that we’ve opted to ignore every warning sign” when it comes to President Biden’s age and seemingly declining cognizance.
“This is about age. Nothing more,” Clooney writes. “But also nothing that can be reversed. We are not going to win in November with this president. On top of that, we won’t win the House, and we’re going to lose the Senate. This isn’t only my opinion; this is the opinion of every senator and congress member and governor that I’ve spoken with in private. Every single one, irrespective of what he or she is saying publicly.”
“Joe Biden is a hero; he saved democracy in 2020. We need him to do it again in 2024,” the award-winning actor writes in conclusion.
In the aftermath of the controversial debate, President Biden has vehemently maintained that he will not be dropping out of the 2024 presidential race.
