Life just got even worse still for disgraced, scandal-plagued former President Donald Trump, as CNN has confirmed that the 45th US President has been hit with yet another round of new, historic criminal charges in the infamous stolen classified document case, along with his body man Walt Nauta and maintenance worker Carlos De Oliveira.
According to CNN’s bombshell reporting, DOJ Special Counsel Jack Smith’s new indictment alleges that Donald Trump conspired with his two close aides to delete incriminating security footage from the premises of his Mar-a-Lago resort turned post-White House home, as part of their larger plot to obstruct the Justice Department’s investigation into Trump’s crimes of stealing, retaining, relocating, and hiding hundreds upon hundreds of classified government documents and materials.
Smith’s explosive new superseding criminal charges come on the heels of the Special Counsel’s efforts to acquire information on the incident from the security company that was responsible for maintaining the resort’s security systems.
The new indictment alleges that the three co-conspirators made it very clear that “the boss” (Donald J. Trump) wanted the damning security footage from inside his compound destroyed, in spite of the fact that the footage had already been formally subpoenaed by Smith, on behalf of the US Department of Justice in their ongoing investigation.

CNN’s Tierney Sneed reports:
CNN has previously reported that surveillance footage turned over to the Justice Department showed Nauta and De Oliveira, moving document boxes around the resort, including into a storage room just before Trump lawyer Evan Corcoran searched it for classified documents. Justice Department officials came to Mar-a-Lago the day after Corcoran’s search, and Corcoran handed over 38 classified documents he had found. Yet the FBI retrieved more than 100 more classified documents when it searched Mar-a-Lago in August, both in the storage room and Trump’s office.”
The evidence of Donald and his co-conspirator’s corruption and obstruction are frankly as clear as daylight, yet the former president continues to vehemently maintain that he has not participated in any wrongdoing in this case, or any of the others continuing to steamroll against him, for that matter. Reacting to the bombshell new development, Trump spokesman Steven Cheung stated that the new indictment is “nothing more than a continued desperate and flailing attempt by the Biden Crime Family and their Department of Justice to harass President Trump and those around him.”
