Trump Resigns From Screen Actors Guilds With Insane Letter As Agency Prepares To Cancel His Membership Over Capitol Attack: “Who Cares!”

He is one unhappy fellow.

That “cancel culture” that Donald Trump is so terrified of is really catching up with him these days. Fox News has reported that the former president has penned his resignation from the Screen Actors Guild (SAG-AFTRA) after the agency took a vote and threatened to cancel his membership as a result of the January 6th Capitol riots perpetrated by his supporters.

Trump’s rage-quitting resignation letter came on the heels of the agency’s decision to kick him out after members “overwhelmingly” voted that the ex-president violated the union’s membership guidelines with the rhetoric and behavior he displayed before and during the violent attack on this nation’s Capitol building last month.

“I write to you today regarding the so-called Disciplinary Committee hearing aimed at revoking my union membership. Who cares!” Trump’s letter to SAG President Gabrielle Carteris read.

“While I’m not familiar with your work, I’m very proud of my work on movies such as Home Alone 2, Zoolander and Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps; and television shows including The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Saturday Night Live, and of course, one of the most successful shows in television history, The Apprentice—to name just a few!” he continued, obviously pumping his own ego in the process.

The former president goes on to claim that he has “also greatly helped the cable news television business (said to be a dying platform with not much time left until I got involved in politics), and created thousands of jobs at networks such as MSDNC and Fake News CNN, among many others.”

“Which brings me to your blatant attempt at free media attention to distract from your dismal record as a union,” Trump went on in the letter. “Your organization has done little for its members, and nothing for me—besides collecting dues and promoting dangerous un-American policies and ideas—as evident by your massive unemployment rates and lawsuits from celebrated actors, who even recorded a video asking, ‘Why isn’t the union fighting for me?'”

Frankly, it reads to me as though Donald Trump just spewed approximately 11 tweets in the form of an angry letter because, once again, he’s being held accountable for his own actions.
